Three Day Intensive Skills Programme.

This 3 day session offers an intensive introduction to contemporary supervision including insight and exercises built around the latest in supervisory excellence.

Each of these participative workshops offer an integrated and progressive approach to skills development and aim to provide supervisors with a variety of approaches to the complex task of supervising others effectively in the workplace. The orientation of the workshops is people centred. One of the greatest challenges faced by supervisors is how to maintain relations at work while getting the job done. It is a role which at times has conflicting motivations – derived from both managerial requirements and worker expectations. This 3 day workshop attempts to reconcile this conflict by providing a range of skills and techniques to support the achievement of agreed objectives by engaging others. Diverse material acknowledgements include: Thomas Harris, Edward de Bono, Vivaldi & Coldplay, The New York Times, Galileo and case studies ranging from Microsoft to Pepsi. Sessions also feature lessons from sporting greats and a small verse by AA Milne ! Ideal for either new or existing supervisors who are responsible for others in their organisation and wish to develop their skills and abilities around the areas of supervising through commitment, coaching and performance, dealing with challenging people and handling information effectively.
